    • Are there laptops available for loan?

    Technical Services has a pool of around 20 laptops, projectors and wacom tablets available for 5-day loan to Faculty of Business staff members only.

    To request a standard loan please email ithelpdesk@qut.edu.au . For any loan of greater than 3 days you must send an email to the Technical Services Coordinator stating the length and reason of the extended loan.

    You can find details about how to connect your laptop to QUT wireless network at the On Campus Access site.

    • How can I use my laptop on the wired network?

    To use your laptop on the QUT wired network in a plug-and-play labs please see the On Campus Access site for instructions and locations of plug-and-play labs.

    You will not be able to plug your laptop into any network port in a Faculty of Business student lab, or into any staff office network port. This facility is only available in plug-and-play labs. If you have any further difficulties please see a Technical Services staff member in Z740.
